A famous name returns to the Daiwa spin reel line-up in 2025 with the release of the new Fuego. Spanish for ‘Fire’ the new Fuego brings the heat, blending a bold list of technologies with classic styling to offer anglers a reel that ticks plenty of boxes.

It begins with AIRDRIVE DESIGN with Daiwa latest light tackle spin reel design concept reimagining the frontal region of the reel with its redesigned rotor and bail arm lighter and more refined resulting in less winding resistance, making the handle of the reel easier to turn. 

A ZAION V body produces a rigid and sturdy frame that houses Daiwa’s famous DIGIGEAR drive system, while ATD drag, MAGSEAL, AIR ROTOR, WIREBAIL and a LONGCAST spool combine to create a reel that’s destined to turn heads.
